What's happenin'

We recently visited the Portland area to meet our new nephew Trevor William Holmes. It was a whirlwind weekend and we loved every minute of it. It was great to see Trevor and his exhausted but wonderful new parents, Scotty and Melissa. We brought the dogs, and Tiggs had a blast playing with Buddy, while Winnie growled at them through the kitchen window. We had cake for Adam's birthday, and generally just enjoyed the family and snuggling with Trevor.

Since our return, we've had visits from Rich and Senja from Canada, and Shannon from California. We had lots of fun showing them some of the climbing around here. In between all work and play, we've been busy still around the house. We are working on the landscaping, and Adam has planted lots of herbs, flowers, and some new trees. We also got our fireplace finished, FINALLY. More photos coming soon. Hope you like the new pics.

Here is our patio under construction. We've (ok, well Adam's) been working on planting lots of flowers, herbs, etc. Adam planted three new trees in our front yard today.  Posted by Picasa
