Melissa, I just discovered your blog on CragBaby this morning, and I am really jealous that you got to spend a whole week at Best Friends. I was there for a tour and some hiking on the 28th. I want to go back and volunteer.
Your house is adorable. I don't know how I missed it over on AT. I love that site and usually check it every day. Did you do the 8 week cure?

Thanks for stopping over in blogland. If you can, you really will have to go down for a volunteer stint. It's really flexible in terms of what you can do, and staying there off season is pretty affordable! You can even bring your own dogs (but you won't be able to have a sleepover :) We go back Jan 1-4, and this time, I'm leaving my furkids home!
I didn't do that AT 8 week cure, they just grabbed a photo that I tagged with AT on Flickr- needless to say, I was purely, geekily, ecstatic.
